Since the date of establishment SOCAR – Heavy  Crane Alliance has gained a reputation of reliability as a Heavy Lift Service Company. Through many years experience, qualified personnel and properly maintained equipment allow us to operate independently throughout Azerbaijan and the Central Asia region.

 

Our scope of service includes:

1.      POLICY DECLARATION BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 

This policy declaration is issued by the Board of Directors of Heavy Crane FZE

 

The Safety, Health, Welfare and Environment (S.H.W.E.) policy of the Board of Directors of SHCA is committed at promoting the welfare of employees within the company, ensuring that they work in the best possible health and safety conditions and protecting the environment to the extent possible.

 

The S.H.W.E. policy plan describes how policy is directed, indicates the means to be employed and the way in which these objectives are to be achieved and lays down authorities and responsibilities.

 

All managers, both line and staff positions, are committed to the S.H.W.E. policy plan issued by the Board of Directors.

 

We, the Board of Directors of SHCA, therefore declare that the S.H.W.E. policy shall be an integral part of our corporate policy. We shall ensure that this policy is implemented and maintained.

 

The Board of Directors of SHCA shall make all necessary resources available to implement this policy.

 

We see safety and awareness in dealing with the environment as an expression of social behaviour are connected with a qualitative proper execution of our activities.

1.0       QUALITY POLICY

 

1.1              STATEMENT OF QUALITY POLICY

 

The quality of service we provide is crucial to every project. That is why we are uncompromising in our standards. Above all, we recognize that ours is a highly specialized service. We are constantly seeking new and innovative methods that will allow us to be flexible in order to meet our customers' changing needs.

 

It is the policy of SHCA to provide our specialized engineering services, which consistently meet the requirements agreed with our Clients.

In order to achieve this objective we are establishing, and will maintain an effective quality assurance system that complies with the International Standard ISO 9002 1994.

 

The Quality Assurance system is mandatory and binding for the entire company.  As such it will be strictly adhered to by all employees of SHCA which encompasses our specialized operation of the lease of cranes, transportation of heavy cargoes and relevant engineering, management, scheduling and routing functions.

 

It is the responsibility of all employees to manage, perform and verify their work in accordance with the specified requirements.

 

The Quality Manager shall be responsible for ensuring this policy is understood, implemented and maintained by all employees.

1.2              PRINCIPLES OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM

SHCA’s Quality Assurance System operates on the following principles:

1.Contracts from Clients are only accepted on the basis that:

-          the Clients requirements are fully understood and documented.

-          any Client requirements differing from the original specification are documented and resolved.

-          SHCA has the capability and equipment to meet the customer’s requirements.

2.All services, and materials that influence the quality of the service provided are purchased from approved suppliers.

3.All services, and materials are subject to receiving, in-processing & final inspection.

4.All operations and activities that influence the quality of the service provided are carried out according to the Quality Policy of the company.

5.Ongoing checks are carried out by the staff at each stage and only work that meets the pre-defined standards is acceptable.

6.All staff are trained in the company Quality Policy and are held accountable for the quality of their work.

7.Corrective action is initiated whenever quality standards fall below the requirements stated in the Quality Manual.

8.Regular audits of the Quality System are performed to check compliance with the Quality Policy of the company.

9.The effectiveness of the Quality System is monitored as part of regular management meetings.
